Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio is seeking a mission-minded Associate to join us as a full time (37.5 per week) Development Operations Manager to support our Development team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ensures compliance with IRS regulations and existing PPGOH gift entry policies and procedures. Revises and improves upon existing gift entry policies and procedures, as needed.
  • Serves as the Development Team’s liaison to the Finance Team, meeting with the Finance team on at least a monthly basis.
  • Leads monthly reconciliation work with the Finance team, including:
    • Daily review and approval of check logs
    • Monthly first round review, including coding review and reconciling credit card gifts.
    • Monthly second round review, including line-by-line reconciliation of Finance and Development’s records for Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio (PPGOH), Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio (PPAO), Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio-PAC (PPAO-PAC), and Planned Parenthood Votes Ohio (PPVO).
    • Monthly meeting with Finance to review any reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Provides backup gift entry support to the Development Operations Associate during times of year with high gift volume or when the Development Operations Associate is out of the office.  
  • Creates and maintains dashboards within RE NXT web view. Builds new dashboards, as needed.
  • Completes regular audits of RE NXT data with the goal of improving and maintaining data hygiene. Designs additional audit queries, as needed.
  • Conducts regular data analysis in support of tracking revenue progress and individual development team member performance.
  • Identifies new data management and analysis needs and creates and documents new processes, as needed.
  • Serves as the Development Team’s first point of contact for questions related to Raiser’s Edge NXT policies and procedures. Elevates questions to the Senior Director of Development Operations, as needed.  
  • Collaborates with the Stewardship & Engagement team to manage the donor.information email inbox.
  • Standardizes the Development Team’s use of the S Drive (and, in the future, Microsoft Office 365).
  • Pulls data for annual tax statements.
  • Identifies potential mid-level, major donor, and institutional prospects based on PPGOH criteria and independent judgment and analysis.
  • Conducts high-level prospect research on potential mid-level, major donor, and institutional prospects, proposing potential strategies to engage and elevate donor contributions. Liaises with the Prospect Researcher and Institutional Giving Team in this work.
  • Completes additional team support requests as assigned.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of additional relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of database experience within a fundraising environment. 7 years required without a degree
  • Raiser’s Edge or Raiser’s Edge NXT experience preferred.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Word and Excel
