SierTeK is looking for a Contract Specialist for the corporate office in Beavercreek, Ohio. This position is in the corporate office Monday through Friday 8a-5p. Remote/Hybrid role may be considered for the right candidate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Contract Specialist assists the Contract Manager and cross-functional teams by providing technical assistance and administrative support for contract management and administration procedures and processes.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist Contract Manager by preparing and editing documents from predefined templates including, but not limited to: 
    • Subcontracts
    • Kick-off Briefs
    • Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements
  • Maintain contract database integrity with accurate and timely contract data entry into various systems.
  • Monitor and update database entries and appropriately file associated documentation.
  • Manage routine reporting requirements as required.
  • Create and manage reports for status and action tracking.
  • Assist with contract closeout activities.
  • Respond to inquiries, provides reports containing all requested contract data, analyzes incoming correspondence for action required, researches and resolves problems related to day-to-day contract administration and associated operational issues as directed by Contract Manager.
  • Support the proposal team as required.
  • Read, review, and understand proposal requirements.
  • Assist with procurement documents, pulling reports, finalizing documents and/or correspondence and other ad hoc duties.
  • Assist with pre-and post-award activities.


Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

The Contract Specialist must be dependable, organized, and with the ability to multi-task. Must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and changing environment. A willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges by taking initiative to research solutions is highly desired.

  • Experience with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • 3 years’ experience with government contract administration.
  • Knowledge of Government contracting methods and contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus (CP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Level of Effort (LOE).
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations System (DFARS).
  • Knowledge of Teaming Agreements (TA), Subcontractor Agreement (SubK), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).
  • Experience working with Government Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and pre- and post-award activities.
