General Purpose of the Job

Enhance the competencies of individual employees by creating, designing and conducting training programs that will boost employee’s workplace performance in alliance with Optio’s core values. Responsible for performing training needs assessments, working with Instructional Design and delivering video curriculum and learning materials.

Essential Job Functions

  • Facilitate and conduct New Hire Training
  • Create and conduct on-going training programs to meet the Optio culture and objectives. This includes training videos than can be used on-demand, and on-going Zoom trainings.
  • Collaborate with QA Team and existing subject matter experts to ensure training is up-to-date
  • Reports on progress of representatives under guidance during training period
  • Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools and practices to ensure maximum learning effectiveness
  • Regularly reviews training material to ensure accuracy and applicability
  • Travel as necessary to service the company’s training needs
  • Responsible to show demonstrable revenue growth in the offices trained
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees
  • Ability to meet department attendance requirements
  • Ability to work effectively under departmental pressure/stress situations
  • Create the development of training materials for collections and compliance
  • Researches new training and motivational material for applicability
  • Performs other similar or associated duties as necessary to accomplish job objectives in an effective manner as assigned by Management or as responsibilities necessitate
Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communicator – possessing stellar speaking, writing, and listening skills
  • Comfortable on camera for training video creation
  • Ability to create and edit training videos
  • Motivational trainer that enhances employee’s overall performance
  • Attention to detail
  • General administrative experience helpful
  • Windows, Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint experience
  • Video editing software experience
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to write procedure manuals and training documentation

Education/Experience Required to Perform the Job

  • 2+ years of call center training experience
  • 1 year of collections or loan servicing call center training experience preferred
  • 2+ years of collections experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
