Visiting Assistant Professor, Anatomy & Physiology

Mount St. Joseph University is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our Biology Department as a Visiting Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in Anatomy & Physiology. This position is a one-year appointment, beginning in August 2024. 

Responsibilities: 

• Teaching undergraduate courses in Anatomy & Physiology (lecture and lab) with the possibility of teaching general biology courses or courses in the candidate’s specialization.
• Engagement: Engage with students, foster critical thinking, and create an inclusive learning environment. 

• Education: A Ph.D. in a relevant field (Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, or related discipline) is required. 
• Experience: Candidates should have experience teaching undergraduate courses, particularly in Anatomy & Physiology.
