Production Control Assistant

Job Title: Production Control Assistant-Part Time

Reports to: VP of Sales

Summary:

The Production Control Assistant is responsible for the creation of work orders and administrative duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A successful Production Control Assistant should be able to fulfill certain duties and responsibilities. The following are some duties and responsibilities:

• Scanning Incoming paperwork When jobs come in, this individual must scan all information into doc records, so we have a record of the paperwork and do not have to keep hard copies. Anyone that has this on their computer can look up any information. This scanning is done for the main office printer.
• Learn Vista this is our ERP system. All job travelers, sales orders, job openings, packing slips and purchase orders are produced from the information we put into vista.
• Packing slips and Shipment packages All customers have different requirements. These will consist of packing slips that we create from vista, our company certificate, serial number list and certifications from suppliers on services they perform on the parts that we are shipping.
• Entering serial numbers into Microsoft Excel
• Purchasing orders for outside suppliers

• Ability to work in a face paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Very detail oriented, highly organized, and able to plan effectively, set priorities and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications and Education Required

Minimum of 1-2 years of college curriculum.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Environment

Usual manufacturing environment with temperature fluctuations, noise from and interactions with equipment, and safety standards of PPE and practices required.
