The Department of Business at Illinois College invites applications for a full-time position in Accounting to begin Fall 2024. Teaching responsibilities include the ability to teach all courses within the Accounting major and providing support for other Business majors, which together are the highest enrolled majors at the College. Additional duties include contribution to the ongoing development of the business programs at the College, including online; student advising and mentoring; scholarly engagement; and community involvement. The successful candidate will have a commitment to undergraduate teaching, interest in faculty-student research, and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Professional accounting experience preferred. ABD or doctorate preferred, but highly qualified master’s-prepared candidates (with professional certification) will be considered.
