Job Position: Acupuncturist
Essential Functions:
- Obtain information about the complaints, symptoms, medical history, diet, lifestyle, and psychological health of the patient
- Communicate with patients and explain the treatment procedures
- Accurately identify where needles should be inserted, or where electrical or heat stimulation is to be applied to patient
- Perform acupressure and other related techniques
- Comply with quality, safety, and infection-prevention protocols, as well as laws and regulations
- Insert needles to treat pain and disorder
- Work alongside with other physicians and health practitioners
Qualifications:
- Acupuncture Medical License (Required)
- Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) (Required)
- Comfortable using electronic medical record for notes and EMR (MDLand)
- Bachelor’s Degree
