Key Responsibilities:

Project Accounting and Financial Management - You'll empower our Producers with accurate financial data and insights:

Set up new projects in the accounting system for Producers
-
Manage timesheet processes, ensuring Producers and their teams track time accurately
-
Generate and distribute project financial reports to Producers and leadership
-
Audit project data for accuracy, supporting Producers in maintaining financial integrity
-
Assist VP of Production in analyzing project profitability
-
Update and maintain rate cards, providing Producers with current pricing information
-
Contracting and Legal Support - You'll streamline the contracting process, allowing Producers to focus on project execution:
-
Maintain and update a library of contract templates for Producer use
-
Draft, manage, and traffic subcontractor agreements and NDAs on behalf of Producers
-
Coordinate with legal counsel on complex contract issues, acting as a liaison for Producers
-
Administer a contract management lifecycle (CLM) system to support Producer workflows
-
Proof contracts for typos and inconsistencies
-
Redact confidential information as needed

Operational Efficiency - Your efforts will optimize processes, making Producers' jobs easier and more effective:

Support initiatives to improve Producer workflows and reduce administrative burdens
-
Maintain and update SOPs and policies relevant to all staff team
-
Identify and implement cost-saving measures to reduce overhead

Financial Analysis and Reporting - You'll provide Producers and Project Leads with the financial insights they need to deliver profitable projects successfully:

Offer financial analysis to support Producers' decision-making

Analyze the profitability of services, helping leadership optimize project performance
-
Ensure data integrity in financial systems, giving Producers reliable information
Qualifications:
You'll likely be successful in this role if you have:

Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills with a proven track record of being patient, supportive, and delightful.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal or related field
-
5+ years of experience in operations and finance management, with a focus on project accounting
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong knowledge of project accounting principles and practices
-
Proficiency in financial and project accounting and ERP software
-
Experience with data auditing and cleaning in accounting systems
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
-
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice-to-Have Qualifications That Could Set You Apart

Certificate in Contract Management or similar certification (e.g., Commercial Contract Management)

2-3 years of experience in contract administration or management

Familiarity with contract law and basic legal terminology

Strong attention to detail and ability to review complex documents
