Part-Time Instructional Aide, Bristol Elementary

Primary Objective: Under the direction of the building principal, assist certified staff in supporting students; monitor and report student progress.

Essential Functions:

• Assist teachers with instruction of individual and small groups of students in the classroom
• Assist counselors in their support of students
• Assist with building supervision including but not limited to hallway, lunch, and recess
• Assists with dismissal of students to ensure safety getting home
• Other duties as assigned

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of (60) sixty college hours

Experience: 1-3 years of job-related experience is required.

Certification: Missouri teacher certification and/or substitute teacher certification preferred

Hours of Employment: Six (6) hours daily - 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Work Calendar: 181
