As a Talent Acquisition Intern at Environmental Design Group, you will:
- Support hiring managers in facilitating the requisition process.
- Post job listings on various platforms to maximize visibility.
- Aid in candidate tracking, review incoming resumes, and distribute them accordingly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants, whether through phone, email, or in-person interactions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external recruiters – assisting with the process of reviewing and distributing resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Schedule interviews and guide candidates through the application process.
- Manage and organize applicant documentation.
- Participate in candidate interviews alongside hiring managers if requested.
- Acquire proficiency in navigating an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate effective communication.
- Maintain ongoing communication with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Coordinate and conduct reference checks as part of the selection process.
- Prepare hiring packages for candidates and new hires.
- Support the co-op and intern program initiatives.
- Assist in general Human Resources activities.
- Contribute to the execution of unique projects and events.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF Editor.
- Positive and outgoing personality, with the ability to conduct client, vendor, and employee outreach.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and coordinate efforts with various team members.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to address technical details clearly, concisely, and compellingly.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a deadline-driven, collaborative environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This temporary part-time position works approximately 15 hours per week. Hours and days may vary based on scheduling needs.
Travel
Travel is minimal for this position.
- If necessary, to drive for company purposes, you must have a valid driver’s license and possess a driving record that will enable the employee to be insurable under the Company’s standard vehicle insurance and general comprehensive liability insurance without additional costs to the Company.
