Our sales internship will teach you how to master cold calling, the art of SPIN selling, and how to utilize your network and LinkedIn to get more leads. You are a part of a team, but the nature of the job is how you perform on your own. By the end of the summer, you will really know if sales is the route for you.

 

You are driven by success, don’t know a stranger, and don’t take no for an answer. If you want to gain knowledge in selling in the digital marketing space and leave the summer with as many LinkedIn connections as possible, then we can’t wait to have you apply!

Our internship program runs from June 3 - August 2, 2024 and is approximately 30-35 hours per week Monday through Friday.


 

Job Expectations

  • Consistently shadow and assist the members of the New Business team with tasks during the sales process

  • Help identify business opportunities through prospecting (cold calling, etc.) and appointment setting

  • Develop materials based on research and analyses found on prospective client opportunities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to provide strategic solutions and presentations for prospective clients 

  • Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition 

 

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • A proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible and fast paced environment to effectively meet deadlines

  • Demonstrates the ability to collaborate in a team-environment to actively pursue goals  

  • The ability to engage in cold-calling and prospecting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Presentation skills

  • Strategic and creative thinking when solving problems

  • Attention to detail 

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Novice to beginner knowledge of  Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing, Paid Search, and Lead Generation

 

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (in progress) in relevant field or 2+ years of equivalent experience 

  • Digital Marketing, Advertising, or media industry experience preferred 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit for extended periods of time

  • Withstand seasonal changes in temperature

  • Knowledge of how to use basic office equipment
