Job Description/Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the flight school's goals and objectives. 
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the flight school's operational team, including flight instructors, ground instructors, and administrative staff. Oversee day-to-day operations, including the flight schedule, aircraft maintenance, and instructor assignments. 
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain a high-performing team capable of delivering exceptional service and instruction. 
  • Oversee Admissions and Operations department; supervises staff, providing ongoing training and ensuring the highest quality customer service to our clients. 
  • Monitor and enhance the student experience throughout their training journey, from enrollment to certification, by implementing effective processes and procedures. Ensure high-quality customer service and student satisfaction. Address student concerns and feedback promptly. 
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, aviation industry stakeholders, and the broader community. 
  • Develop/Implement Admissions guideline processes and evaluation for enrollment forms, rental agreements, insurance requirements, medical/IACRA completion, student supplies, and other files.  
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of flight training activities to optimize aircraft and instructor utilization while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. 
  • Prepare for audits and maintain all documentation within compliant, legal standards. 
  • Ensures compliance of accounting/billing procedures. 
  • Establish and update pricing lists for programs for all locations. 
  • Performs business and customer relations, while training staff on related functions. 
  • Assists in creating and maintaining affiliations with outside schools, financial institutions, and other businesses. 
  • Institutes software management for scheduling and customer tracking through CRM systems. 
  • Creates and implements expansion plans and presentations with Chief Instructor. 
  • Coordinate with Chief instructor in developing criteria, student catalogs, and other company wide policies. 
  • Prepares student enrollment reports and projections. 
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, safety practices, and the overall quality of flight training services. 
  • Liaise with marketing team to develop marketing strategies to attract new students and promote the flight school's programs and services. 
  • Other functions as assigned.
