American Academy (AA) is accepting applications for an Elementary Media/Technology teacher for the 2023-2024 academic year at our Castle Pines campus. Technology classes at American Academy weave 21st Century interdisciplinary themes into core subject projects by providing digital native students the skills to collaborate, innovate and think critically using 21st Century tools.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to the mission and philosophy of American Academy with enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
Teach American Academy's curriculum with fidelity.
Uphold and model American Academys Manners and Character.
Work as a positive member of the grade level team to provide an exceptional education.
Develop and maintain a positive partnership with parents through frequent communication of progress and concerns.
Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, students, and administration.
Timely upkeep of records including grades and assignments in Infinite Campus and updates on webpage.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or related field
Teaching license
Preferred Experience:
Advanced educational technology expertise
Incorporation of 21st Century skills into learning
Differentiation of instruction to reach all levels of ability
