American Academy (AA) has an opening for a Part-time Middle School History Instructor for the 2023-24 academic year at our Motsenbocker campus. This teacher would work closely with another history teacher to bring continuity to the department and best serve every student. AA students are ability grouped and switch classes with their group for all core subjects (science, English, language, and history). Therefore, each teacher is responsible for developing lessons that correspond to the classs ability.

Work as a positive member of the middle school team to provide an exceptional education.
Meet each childs academic needs through data-driven instruction.
Develop and maintain a positive partnership with parents through frequent communication of progress and concerns.
Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, students, and administration.
Timely upkeep of records including grades and assignments in Infinite Campus and updates on webpage.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Education
Colorado teaching license
Secondary license with an endorsement in History
Highly qualified under NCLB
