Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
Job Summary:
As a Data Visualization Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping our data-driven future. You'll be at the forefront of crafting and refining analytics, visualizations, and data strategies. These are essential in steering our organization forward and providing actionable insights for better decision-making. Your ability to embrace uncertainty and rapidly evaluate hypotheses is vital. We're looking for a background in areas such as quantitative analysis, data mining, predictive modeling, programming, data transformation, and of course, data visualization. We are also looking for a technical guru who can translate to a non-technical audience. Being comfortable with ambiguity and capable of quickly testing assumptions is central to the role. As our Data Visualization Analyst, you'll develop interactive dashboards and contribute significantly to our business decisions by offering insights and recommendations using top-notch tools like Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and others.
Essential Functions:
Data Analysis: Undertake the collection, purification, and examination of extensive datasets from diverse sources. Your goal is to unearth significant patterns, trends, insights, and opportunities.
Data Visualization: Design clear, impactful visualizations to convey metrics and KPIs to those without a technical background.
Report Generation: Regularly create and update reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators. Offer support to various departments, such as Accounting, Production, and Sales, in generating both regular and ad-hoc reports.
Dynamic Dashboards Creation: Move from static to real-time, dynamic dashboards for monitoring the company's status.
Business Intelligence Support: Aid in business intelligence tasks, which are vital for our company's growth.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work in tandem with different departments to identify and document data needs for reporting. Help pinpoint key business questions and answer them with data. Share your insights, best practices, and recent developments in data analytics.
Training and Support: Offer necessary training and assistance to team members in utilizing data tools and understanding data outputs, enabling them to use data effectively in their decision-making. Be the partner liaison between our Account Management team and our clients to understand the dashboards and interpret feedback universally.
Documentation and SOP Creation: Document data analysis methods, report formats, calculations, and data sources for future use.
Continuous Improvement: Actively seek and implement ways to enhance data processes and reporting efficiency within the organization.
Product Development: Identify opportunities for new products to facilitate internal and external needs.
