General Qualifications
The Dining Specialist must be a mature follower of Jesus, still growing and developing in their faith. They must be fully in accord with Carolina Creek’s mission statement, and statement of beliefs; committed to living these out personally, and instilling them in the organization. They must be of strong moral character and integrity.
Education/Certifications/Licenses

Current Texas Food Handlers certification

Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Must have a current valid drivers license

Must be trainable, willing to ask questions where knowledge is lacking, and open to performance feedback

Must possess good communication skills and be proficient in reading and speaking English

Must be able to read and understand English as required for the job, (e.g. schedules, emails, etc.)

Must be able to use a digital application to document hours, and to send/receive texts and emails related to scheduling, changes, or other instructions.
Physical Demands:
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in hot and humid conditions. Requires sitting, standing, squatting, stooping, twisting, and ability to lift/carry anywhere from 15 to over 60 lbs. Must be able to see at close distances for food prep and paperwork as well as across the kitchen and dining room for instructing guests related to safety. Must be able to hear and give instructions and commands at the distance across the kitchen or dining room. Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
