Full-time Primary Care Physician

Pagosa Springs Medical Center has an opening for a Full-Time Primary Care Physician.  Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Full-time physicians work four 10-hour shifts per week (not weekends). PSMC will provide professional liability insurance coverage, a relocation stipend of $10,000 payable after relocation and two weeks after starting work, and a CME allowance of $6,000 annually (gross and subject to taxes) for full-time physicians. Generous paid time off for full-time physician: 260 hours per year. Compensation range:  $200,000 to $240,000. PSMC’s full-time positions include the following benefits: health insurance plans with medical, dental and vision; and options for Health Savings account (HSA) or Flexible Health Saving account (FSA). PSMC and Provider each contribute 6% of earnings to a 401a Retirement subject to I.R.S. contribution and compensation limits and five-year vesting.  Voluntary participation in 457 plan. PSMC's Rural Health Clinic is a Colorado Health Service Corps site and eligible providers can apply for the CHSC loan repayment program. PSMC is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligible employer. • Colorado licensure (or eligible to apply for licensure) to practice as a Physician;

• professional liability insurance coverage in the amounts of $1 million/$3 million (to be provided by PSMC for employed physicians); and,
