Required Skills/Abilities:
- Familiarity with Rockwell Automation or Siemens programming software and hardware, such as Logix500, Logix5000, Factory Talk View (HMI), and TIA Portal
- Understanding of DeviceNet and Industrial Ethernet
- Understanding of industrial electrical components
- Understanding of industrial sensors including photo eyes and proximity switches
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Excellent trouble shooting skills
- Ability to multitask and adjust priorities when needed
Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time, with maximum of 12 days traveling in one trip and minimum of 9 days home in-between trips.
Education/Experience:
- BSEE or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1-4 years relevant experience
- Previous experience with electro/mechanical repair and trouble shooting
- Previous experience with training personnel on machinery operation
