JOB ROLE
We are seeking a case manager to work collaboratively with clinical therapists in helping clients:
- Locate clinical and ancillary resources in their home communities
- Provide logistical support at retreat facility and be on-site for retreats to help with the needs of clients
- Provide educational lectures as requested by Senior Retreat Manager
- Monitor on client’s progress
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced case manager who wants to work primarily at a trauma sensitive, psychoeducational healing retreat setting. The Saprea Retreat is a free, clinically informed 4-day in-person experience followed by a self-guided online course. Nestled in a beautiful, healing environment surrounded by nature, and supported by ancillary services including a logistics team and outstanding in-house culinary offerings, the retreat teaches about trauma's impacts, provides opportunities to apply healing tools, and builds community among survivors.
This case manager position requires working in two (2) locations as follows:
- 3 weeks/month in area near Springville, UT
- 1 week/month in Lehi, UT (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays of this week may be worked remotely from home.)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide logistical support for clients attending retreats
- Connect clients to hometown community resources after retreats
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to establish rapport with clients
- Provide support to all clinical staff as requested
- Help organize and plan ancillary activities at retreats (this includes outreach and screening of potential presenters). Coordinate services with vendors
- Be (or become) certified in First Aid and CPR
- Ensure client’s safety and well-being while at retreats
- Help coordinate and implement ancillary programs at events
- Training of all case managers (retreat and intake)
- Continue to create and update policies and checklists
- Oversee the work of retreat case managers as directed by management
- Oversee intake case managers as directed by management
- Collaborate with retreat logistics team
- Any other duties that may be requested by management
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience Requirements
- 5 years in a human service role or equivalent
- 5 years experience in office procedures/functions or equivalent
- Non-profit and/or healthcare experience a plus
- Experience working with persons in crisis
Educational/Professional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
