Company & Position Summary

Primary Location:  Winona Facility  

Shift/Hours: Core office hours, Mondays-Fridays, 8:00am-4:00pm. This position primarily works day hours, with the ability to flex work hours to support all shifts and business needs required.

Remote: This position is required to work onsite every day for the first 90-days.  After 90-days, this position has the ability to work from home up to 1 day per week.

Position Status: Full-Time

The Team:
This role is a part of the Human Resource team. The team works with and supports all other departments in the organization including the full network of companies: RiverSide Integrated Solutions (RIS), JMW Enterprises, and CCSI.  Our team currently consists of an HR Manager, Senior HR Generalist and Payroll & Benefits Specialist.

 

The Role:

This co-worker will provide talent acquisition support to the company. This position is responsible for recruiting and hiring quality coworkers in a high volume and fast paced environment primarily for manufacturing openings. The applicant must possess self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive disposition toward the job, the company, and coworkers. Effectiveness in this role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with solid judgment. This position will travel between Lewiston and Winona facilities weekly. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

You will spend your time:

  • Responsible for all phases of the recruitment lifecycle process; posting positions, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, and hiring.    

  • Complete new hire processes including orientation class and onboarding

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs

  • Communicate and collaborate with staffing agencies to fill positions 

  • Maintain recruiting reports

  • Interact with and respond to co-worker inquiries regarding openings and other HR general questions

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal and local employment laws

  • Maintain co-worker employment files

  • Assist with administering training to co-workers

  • Assist with recruiting strategies

  • Assist with employment advertisements

  • Perform other tasks as requested and required

  • Recruiting experience, manufacturing preferred

  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs and ability to adapt to new technologies/software

  • Knowledge of applicant tracking software, Paycom preferred

  • Ability to work successfully independently and as a team member

  • Self-motivated

  • Excellent/professional interpersonal skills, and verbal and written communication skills

  • Customer Service skills, an ability to asses customer needs and provide solutions

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Detail oriented

  • High level of integrity

  • Proven track record of reliability and responsibility, with ability to manage time and performance

 

Travel:

  • This position will travel between the RiverSide Lewiston and Winona facilities weekly. This position will also travel to our Rushford facilities periodically.  

  • Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be required.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling

  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit

  • Lifting up to 10 pounds

  • Office and manufacturing setting
