Position overview:

The Field Marketing Manager, International works closely with the Nearpod International sales and customer success teams to drive top of funnel growth, customer expansions, and ensure renewals through a variety of segment-focused marketing campaigns & tactics. The Field Marketing Manager, International  is a conduit for the go-to-market team to the rest of the marketing organization. He/she will be directly responsible for email marketing, events, custom collateral and outbound campaign support and will project manage additional marketing tactics such as website, paid campaigns, social & communities alongside channel owners for the International segment.

  • You have direct experience in adapting product marketing collateral (from U.S. to International market), developing email campaigns and providing sales development support

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive International B2C and B2B top of funnel efforts (b2c user acquisition, b2c revenue, lead gen) directly and in collaboration with channel owners (e.g., events, digital marketing, content/product, sales development representatives)

  • Execute on International lead gen campaigns which may include custom landing pages, webinars, outbound calling (with sales development reps), digital marketing, in person events, etc.; collaborate with channel managers as appropriate

  • Adapt existing plays, develop new plays, and drive execution of these plays to drive lead gen, shorten the sales cycle and ensure renewals for the International segment 

  • Adapt collateral and sales enablement tools (i.e. product marketing one pagers) and develop new collateral and tools as needed (e.g., case studies) for the International segment

  • Collaborate with growth marketing managers to ensure activation and engagement of International b2c and b2b end users

  • Orchestrate International conferences / sponsorships working closely with the event marketing manager (e.g., pre and post marketing outreach, custom messaging/collateral, etc.)

  • Provide feedback to Product Marketing Manager about International needs from the field 

  • Act as conduit / entry point for International to the broader marketing team

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA a plus.

    • 3+ years of experience in demand generation across B2C and/or B2B, with demonstrated results in generating b2b leads and sales pipeline 

  • Industry / market knowledge

    • Comprehends the dynamics of the International education space is preferred

    • Comprehends the dynamics of a B2C2B business model is preferred

    • Customer centric (puts oneself in customers shoes, has an understanding for our customer)

    • General knowledge of how sales and customer success organizations operate and their success factors

  • Personal skills & abilities

    • Highly organized (able to juggle many priorities, document, and communicate well)

    • Highly collaborative and able to manage a large number of stakeholders

    • Analytical (able to analyze campaign performance and apply learnings to future campaigns)

  • Technical skills

    • Strong copywriting abilities

    • Able to manage agency or designers to develop outstanding creative

    • Strong working knowledge of necessary systems is preferred: Pardot, Salesforce.com, Google sheets / excel, Google slides / PowerPoint
