We're looking for a talented GL Manager to support our industry leading products here at Tosoh Quartz, Inc.
As General Ledger Manager, you will be the key contributor to the Finance team to manage global general ledger and financial reporting to ensure that the consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with the applicable accounting standards and financial results are reported timely.
What you’ll do at Tosoh Quartz.
- General ledger maintenance, COA maintenance, Journal entries review and approval, perform and/or review accounts reconciliations.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements - performing month-end, quarter end, and year-end closing and associated financial reports.
- Financial and operational reporting and analysis; full cycle GL management.
- GAAP financial statements preparation, implementation of accounting guidance.
- Maintain sub-ledger transactions and records.
- Set up and maintain operational, financial internal controls, and business processes.
- Evaluation and implementation of accounting systems.
- Manage internal and external audits.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Who you are.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with a minimum of 2 years as Accounting Manager.
- Certified Public Accountant with some Public accounting experience.
- Previous experience preparing and/or reviewing account reconciliation for all balance sheet accounts.
- Experience performing variance analysis of income statement and balance sheet to ensure financial statements are free of material misstatement.
- Maintained or participated in implementing internal controls.
- Experience adopting and implementing new software.
- Experience working with auditors and preparing audit and related deliverables.
- Experience analyzing current and past financial data and performance.
- Experience preparing reports and projections based on analysis.
- Ability to identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
We’d like to see:
- Experience with technical accounting.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Participated in budgeting and forecasting.
- Previous experience with financial models and forecasting.
