We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our industry leading products here at Tosoh Quartz, Inc.
As the AP Specialist, you will be responsible for all accounts payable related duties.
What you’ll do at Tosoh Quartz.
- Assemble, sort, match, and review payable invoices for payment. Review all invoices for appropriate documentation, account coding and approval prior to payment.
- Respond to all vendor inquiries. Reconcile vendor statements, and research and correct discrepancies.
- Prepare checks and payable register. Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
- Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks, and distribute checks accordingly.
- Audit and process credit card bills. Process and audit Concur expense reports for completeness and in accordance with Company policy. Record transactions in the accounting system.
- Set-up vendor files in Finance. Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Company policy and established processes.
- Check accuracy of transactions.
- Maintain sub-ledger transactions and records.
- Maintain general ledger for the assigned accounts.
Who you are.
Minimum requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a full-cycle accounts payable role.
- Understands and carries out simple and complex oral and written instructions.
- Deadline and detail-oriented; meets deadlines pertaining to completion of projects in a timely manner.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and plan own work activities and with a minimal amount of supervision.
- Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Strong organizational skills.
