Qgiv is looking for highly motivated and driven individuals that are looking to join our sales team as a Business Development Representative (BDR).  As a BDR, it is your job to set up appointments and find potential clients for the sales team.

You are the first step in the prospecting process, and the sales team relies on your persuasive abilities and creative methods of finding potential customers. You will qualify leads from inbound marketing campaigns as well as contact potential clients through cold calls and emails. Your primary tool is usually the telephone, though you also might find new business through email and social media campaigns.

Goals

  • Set up demonstrations for our Account Executives team through the telephone, email and social campaigns
  • Manage prospect data within our Salesforce CRM dashboard, making sure that all relevant communications and contact data is verified and logged
  • Become intimately familiar with our internal tools and an expert at managing your time
  • Consistently display timeliness, professionalism, a desire to learn, and that you contribute improvement to the Qgiv sales lead generation process
  • Provide other related and supporting duties as they are required

External Obstacles

  • Establishing urgency with prospects
  • Acquiring industry knowledge and becoming a product expert will take some time
  • Lots and lots of outbound cold calls and hearing the word “No” a lot

Internal Obstacles

  • The role is still evolving, you will need to be flexible and adapt to change as the process gets refined and improved
  • Must be able to work from our Lakeland office. No remote options

Actions

  • Use Salesforce to create your call list for the day based off previous outreach touch points
  • If it is not in Salesforce, it did not happen
  • Follow the 10-touch point process for all leads
  • Document all calls and emails in Salesforce
  • Call marketing leads and identified target lists provided by the company
  • Researching and contacting prospect companies; telemarketing background is a plus
  • Able to present an accurate and professionally delivered pre-qualified description and be able to answer basic product related questions to potential lead contacts
  • Can multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Highly organized and a strong follow up mentality 

Results

  • At least 90 calls a day or 1.5 hours of talk time
  • Minimum of 10 completed demos a month via outreach campaigns
  • Minimum of 5 new accounts each month
