Position overview:

Nearpod is seeking a strategic, creative and results-driven B2B Growth Marketing Manager to join our mission-driven company, drive growth and collaborate with the existing growth team. Nearpod is a B2C2B company that prides itself on building products that teachers and students love, which leads to schools and districts purchasing. This role will be a key contributor on the growth team responsible for accelerating demand for our B2B business via new and proven marketing channels as well as adoption and usage of users to ensure renewal and prime for expansion.


Ideal candidate will have:

  • Track record of building impactful B2C2B marketing initiatives across budgets of multiple sizes, and have experience setting and hitting metrics.  

  • Passion for continuously optimizing core growth channel experiments and campaigns.

  • Solid project management skills–the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward.

  • Experience with lead scoring and long-tail lead nurture. 

  • Understanding of the K-12 school and district decision maker or a passion and willingness to learn about it.

  • Desire to make meaningful contributions to an organization committed to making students’ and teachers’ lives better.



  • Work with cross functional team(s) (Product, GTM Ops, Customer Experience, Sales) to establish growth strategies to support Nearpod’s B2B revenue and retention goals.

  • Generate marketing inbound leads, inform web optimization, and optimize lead scoring, to meet MQL and SQL goals.

  • Collaborate with the sales and account teams to drive new sales pipeline and create awareness of Nearpod’s products.

  • Experiment with B2B campaigns, owning email optimization while collaborating with other channel managers, with core KPI’s around B2B user acquisition, activation & habit stage metrics.

  • Ideate and execute on a wide range of strategic experimentation to drive education and engagement for B2B users of Nearpod.

  • Report on performance for all B2B experiments and tests.

  • Analyze data to monitor revenue performance and uncover areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with product on the customer journey to ensure high activation and engagement within the Nearpod and Flocabulary platforms.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA a plus

  • 3+ years experience in demand generation across B2C and/or B2B, with demonstrated results in generating b2b leads and sales pipeline 

  • Demonstrated understanding of a B2C2B/Freemium business model, SaaS experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Salesforce, Pardot, Intercom, Mixpanel, Tableau 

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive influence within the organization 

  • Highly organized and strong project management skills - proven ability to multi-task and juggle multiple campaigns at the same time

  • Passion for the K-12 education space

  • Outstanding written, oral and organizational ability
