We are looking for a driven Accounting Intern who is ready for an immersive, real-world experience. To be a strong candidate for our Accounting Internship, you should possess an understanding of accounting and financial principles, a positive attitude, and willingness to pe a part of a fast-paced environment. We are searching for candidates that are collaborative, trustworthy, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Shadow members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties.
- Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Assist in preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations and other general ledger account reconciliations for monthly close process.
- Assist in preparation of financial reports.
- Work with accounting software.
- Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
- Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
