Job Description
RightNow Media is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our in-office team in McKinney, TX, to help serve more people with our streaming library of biblical video content. In this role, you’ll assist primarily with customer lifecycle marketing / user engagement communications, as well as support social media efforts, mobile marketing communications, reporting, and other marketing-related projects and tasks.
This is a great opportunity for someone with one or two years of professional marketing experience who is a strong writer looking to gain more overall experience in marketing, specifically at a Christian media/SaaS company!
Responsibilities
Assist with various aspects of marketing including but not limited to:
- Communications
- Work with marketing team to draft communication plans for new products, features, and/or series.
- Write compelling content for user engagement emails, social posts, and mobile communications.
- Build and test email campaigns and automated email journeys.
- Build, test, and launch mobile communication campaigns.
- Be open to and implement feedback related to marketing communications.
- Social Media
- Work with marketing team to implement social media strategy.
- Assist with inbox and community management for company social media profiles and Facebook Group.
- Brainstorm and support new social media engagement and content ideas.
- Other marketing projects and tasks, such as:
- Regular reporting of social media, email, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
- Be an active participant in marketing ideation, planning, and other project/team meetings.
- Support marketing team with ad hoc landing page building and maintenance.
- Support other copywriting and editing requests as needed.

Required Experience and Education
- 1–2 years of work experience in a marketing role (can include internships and volunteer roles)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or similar
- Understanding of and experience with implementing marketing principles and tactics
- Experience working in an email marketing platform (MailChimp, Braze, Constant Contact, etc.)
- Familiar working knowledge of all major Microsoft Office platforms
- Familiarity with RightNow Media video content and app features a plus
- Basic knowledge of HTML a plus
