Job Overview:

We believe that a successful implementation of a customer directly coincides with fully anticipating a customer’s needs and exceeding expectations. As an Integration Manager, you are a part of the teacher and administrator journey of onboarding, maintenance and renewal. It is our mission to ensure that our customers have an exceptional experience with our platform that drives successful student learning outcomes. This role will work closely with many Nearpod departments as well as with the customer. The ideal candidate will be a risk averse innovator.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Engineering, Customer Success Management, Support and Sales teams to ascertain the technical needs of the Nearpod install base for both presale & post sale  

  • Scope the level of effort required for any custom development

  • Manage technical relationships with customer administration and IT teams to ascertain the initial and ongoing technical requirements to guarantee they are achieving their desired outcomes

  • Lead district level integration needs, specifically related to SFTP, LMS integrations, specific APIs or other environment variables that will be required to successfully roster and SSO teachers and students to Nearpod’s platform.

  • Identify training needs for the Customer Success Management, Sales and Support teams

  • Manage and implement process improvements around onboarding and the rostering of admin, teacher and student data

  • Basic script writing for limited automations

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a customer-facing role with proven success in customer communication and service

  • Able to operate in a highly efficient manner by multitasking in a fast paced environment with limited supervision

  • Driven to exceed expectations, deliverables and milestone dates

  • Exceptional technical skills - knowledge of SFTP, LTI, PHP, Python, with some exposure to APIs.

  • Knowledge of Classlink, Clever and Google Classroom preferred

  • Superior written and communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Education; additional IT certifications preferred

  • Experience working in a SaaS environment a plus
