Job Summary:
Provides customer support and project management on existing accounts and introduction of products and services to new accounts. Works directly with the Outside Sales Team to prepare technical proposals in a timely manner for compressed air, vacuum, pump, blower, and/or related equipment.
Essential Job Duties:

Identify research and secure new business opportunities, utilizing prospecting skills and community/business networking to quote projects, increase revenue and improve margins. Follow the sales cycle from beginning to end including initial contact; client needs analysis, development of proposals/presentations, and obtaining purchase orders.

Develop sales strategy in concert with business plans, utilizing a strategic planning process that encompasses company, market, and industry trends to ensure coordination of efforts to achieve goals.

Develop and maintain relationships with engineering firms, distributors, mechanical contractors, and end users.

Generate quotes and enter sales orders as requested by the Outside Sales Team.

Follow the production of equipment sold and provide timely updates to the Sales Team.

Interface daily with customers and co-workers and build customer relationships.

Sell parts to support equipment sales as needed.
Additional Job Duties:

Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest in concert with the Sales team.

Identify and coordinate industry-related trade shows to increase company and brand awareness and prospect potential clients with the Sales Team.

Maintain and expand your database of prospects.

Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred with a Mechanical or Electrical emphasis.

Minimum 3 years of inside and/or outside sales experience of capital equipment.

Mechanical and electrical knowledge, experience, and aptitude are necessary.

This is a technical position and an ability to learn, understand, and competently communicate compressor, vacuum, and pump application features and benefits is required.
Preferred Skills:
-
Proven selling ability & PC skills are required. Prior experience utilizing sales tools for lead generation. Familiar with MS Office.

Excellent customer follow-up, attention to detail, organization, and efficient time management skills are required.
