Job Description

The Kansas City Office Senior Universal Banker will take an ownership and "can do" approach to managing the needs of the facility and supporting the needs of both retail and commercial production teams. This position will require an ability to multi-task and a willingness to learn a wide breadth of tasks to ensure and enable an environment of growth, efficiency, and fun!

An Senior Universal Banker's responsibilities include:

  • Perform Teller, Universal Banker and Call Center functions.
    • Customer inquiries regarding account and loan products and services, both over the phone and in-person
    • Open, close, and perform maintenance on all accounts and customer profiles
    • Assist customers with all transaction types including preparing cashier's checks for commercial and trust customers
    • Prepare change orders and balance branch cash daily
    • Process overdrafts
    • Document scanning and electronic filing for account and CIP
  • Be the face of the office by greeting all guests in a professional and helpful manner
  • Assist with inventory and stocking all office supplies
  • Invoice and expense duties
  • Provide administrative support to the commercial loan officers, including reviewing and requesting exception items and documents, scanning financial and other documents to the loan files, and assisting with monthly construction draws
  • Work cooperatively with Loan Administration to ensure all documentation is accurate and received in time for closing and preparation of closing documents for assigned lender(s)
  • Prepare spaces for client needs, meetings, events, etc
  • Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations
  • Assist in conducting branch security testing and be the point of contact for all things security related.

  • Organize scheduling for front desk coverage needs
  • Mail and/or delivery of documents as needed
  • Performing additional clerical duties as needed
  • Regular attendance required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two or more years of related banking experience
  • Strong customer service, communication and problem solving skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Sense of urgency
  • Self Starter
