The Physician Training & Quality Manager is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive software training programs for onboarding radiologists, including creating training materials, conducting sessions, and collaborating with the Medical Director and Operations Director to ensure the successful integration of onboarding radiologists. This role is tasked with overseeing and refining quality assurance processes to ensure that all operational activities meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial for enhancing efficiency, minimizing errors, and maximizing customer satisfaction.
Job Functions
- Collaborate with leadership to design, develop, and implement a comprehensive onboarding process and ongoing training program for radiologists
- Stay current with advancements in radiology software and incorporate new techniques and technologies into training materials, incorporating feedback from trainees and other stakeholders
- Ensure training practices and educational materials meet high standards of quality and align with current radiology practices
- Provide training and support to radiologists related to software applications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal peer review and quality assurance policies and procedures, aligning with organizational goals and industry standards
- Monitor and evaluate operational processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead the investigation and resolution of quality-related issues and discrepancies
- Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze radiologist performance metrics and recommend improvements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including procedures, standards, and compliance records
- Adhere to internal and external regulatory requirements, including industry standards and company policies
- Coordinate and lead internal and external quality audits, preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings
- Prepare and present regular quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas of concern
- Implement feedback mechanisms to capture and address customer input related to quality
- In partnership with the Medical Director, help coordinate exam assessments to be evaluated for proficiency, quality, progress of onboarding radiologists, and follow-up mechanisms

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate degree required (focus on business administration, business coaching, or quality management is highly desired) or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- 3 years of experience in quality assurance or operations management, with a proven track record of success
- Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring within a radiology setting
- Graduate from an ARRT accredited School of Radiologic Technology and certification as a Radiologic Technologist (Registered Radiology Technologist)
- Advanced certificates: Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification, Mammographer
