Students will have their snack, then enrichment classes take place from 3:30-4:30 pm in the cafeteria, auditorium and/or gym. Staff escorts students outside for pick up and is responsible for cleaning site before leaving.

Job Summary: The After School Club (ASC) Site Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the implementation of positive youth development practices with daily activities and interactions with children. The ASC Site Coordinator is responsible for ensuring program quality including assisting in implementation of activities, providing leadership and guidance to staff and overseeing the ordering and distribution of snacks, materials and all supplies needed to operate the program.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of participants and staff at all times
- Provide guidance to staff while onsite in adhering to program quality standards
- Serve as the on-site point person during emergency situations and ensure employees and participants follow procedures as documented
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Implement and executes program activities with school-aged program staff
- Supervise snack time with participants
- Responsible for maintaining daily attendance records
- Assist in daily participant arrival and departure procedures
- Maintain a positive relationship with all employees, participants, parents, vendors, and volunteers
- Communicate any site employee, participant behavioral or disciplinary problems to the Recreation Supervisor
- Keep assigned areas clean and sanitized as needed
- Actively support the agency’s risk management protocol that will effectively control and reduce accidents
- Obey the practical safety rules, regulations and procedures established by the Safety Committee, attend and participate in required safety trainings
- Promptly report all unsafe actions, practices or conditions to the immediate supervisor
- Perform other related duties as assigned, based on agency needs

- Ability to maintain and support high-quality programs
- Ability to make effective decisions and communicate well with fellow team members, parents, and participants

Education and/or Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Exposure to cleaning and disinfecting supplies
- Must be able to lift and/or move 25 pounds
- Frequently required to stand and walk
- Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance
- The noise in the work environment is generally moderate to loud
Required Certificates/Licenses/Registrations:
- CPR/First Aid Certification
