With a mission to provide world-class healthcare to the underserved Asian community, Rendr is the leading primary care focused, multi-specialty physician group dedicated to serving the Asian population in New York City. Our over 200 providers take care of the health of approximately 200,000 patients at more than 100 clinical offices throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and Nassau County.
Location: Various locations across Brooklyn and Queens
Job Position: Ultrasound Technician
Essential Functions:
- Calibrate, maintain, and control all ultrasound equipment
- Perform ultrasounds on 15+ patients per day, on average
- Take sonogram still images and video for physician and patients
- Refrain from commenting on your work to patients unless specifically instructed to do so by a physician
- Notify physicians of any abnormalities or concerns immediately
- Responsible for preliminary reports
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred
- A minimum of one year of experience as an abdominal ultrasound or vascular technologist
- Sonography accreditation in either abdominal or vascular required
- Bachelor's Degree in Sonography preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of human anatomy and functions
- Be punctual to medical practices business hours of operation
