Job Summary: The Vice President of Provider Recruiting and onboarding will be a key member of the senior leadership team at OnePeak Medical. This pivotal role will pioneer the provider recruitment function, laying the foundation for a dedicated department that actively identifies, engages, and retains top-tier medical talent. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives to support OnePeak Medical’s growth and foster an environment of innovation and excellence in provider engagement and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Talent Management:
- Establish and cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals in medical and allied fields to build a robust talent database.
- Design and execute a comprehensive provider recruitment strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance recruitment workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Recruitment Goals and Metrics:
- Recruit an average of four positions per month, equating to approximately 50 positions annually. Exceptional recruiters may achieve 60-80 placements per year.
- Ensure recruitment efforts align with organizational needs and expectations.
- End-to-End Recruitment Oversight:
- Manage all aspects of full-cycle provider recruitment, including job postings, candidate vetting, interviews, site visits, and final selection.
- Prepare and communicate compensation offers, including employment contracts and letters of intent.
- Coordinate seamless onboarding processes, ensuring provider start dates, locations, and relevant details are communicated to the operations team.
- Oversee providers’ progression through onboarding, including participation in Boot Camp.
- Retention and Engagement:
- Conduct follow-ups with placed providers to ensure a positive onboarding experience and capture feedback for continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between new providers and the operations team, fostering engagement and alignment with company initiatives.
- Develop and track provider surveys (30-60-90 day reviews) to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with senior leadership on hiring plans and strategic goals.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to new and existing providers.
- Drive cross-functional communication to align recruitment strategies with overall organizational objectives.
- Own and lead the provider recruitment department, ensuring its alignment with the company’s mission and objectives.
- Travel and In-Person Engagement:
- Travel to clinics to build relationships with medical staff, understand team dynamics, and assess recruitment needs.
- While remote work is an option, in-person presence is required for activities such as meetings, dinners, and candidate engagement events.
