Position Overview

As Associate Project Coordinator, you will support the production and publishing efforts of Nearpod’s content development. You will perform a wide variety of tasks to keep our content production efforts on track: Communicating with the contractors who write and design our lessons, tracking progress, reviewing work and much more. This role reports to the Content Development Project Manager and is critical to our team’s efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate the work of our contractors and production vendors: 

    • Manage project assignments to ensure on-time/on-spec delivery

    • Troubleshoot workflow issues to ensure production is streamlined 

  • Create training materials and coordinate trainings for our contractors/vendors

  • Update (and sometimes build) production trackers 

  • Coordinate project documentation and file management

  • Facilitate independent contractor recruitment and paperwork with legal/finance 

  • Review lessons to ensure all content meets our quality standards

  • Support our team leads with sourcing, tracking, and crediting 3rd-party assets

  • Provide backend publishing support and data entry as needed


Required Skills and Experience: 

  • 1+ years of relevant experience 

  • Strong writing and editorial skills

  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills

  • Experience working in the Google Suite

  • Experience tracking projects in spreadsheets

  • Bonus points for fluency in Spanish (some of our vendors are in South America)

  • Bonus points for experience with content management systems JIRA, Airtable
