Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; MA or MS in relevant fields preferred.

Additional real estate-specific coursework desired, with recognized real estate designation such as RICS, MCR, CCIM, or CPM preferred.

NYC Certificate of Fitness for Fire Life and Safety Director (F89/T89).

Minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience in the areas of leased property acquisitions/disposition and portfolio management, real estate development, construction management, architecture or similar role preferred. Experience with one or more NYC projects is preferred.

Demonstrated experience and an overall understanding of the principles of real estate development including leasing, design, finance, legal, construction and operations
Knowledge/Skills

Demonstrated ability to lead a project team with proven project management, organization, and presentation skills.

Working knowledge and understanding of HVAC controls, heating systems, electrical systems, construction methods/admin required.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and the ability to operate independently while effectively managing relationships with internal and external business partners.

Track record of integrity and sound judgment.

Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment.

Ability to assess and recognize quality and quickly recognize problems.

Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Annual Salary $115, 000.00

Compensation
Covenant House New York offers a rich package of benefits including but not limited to full medical, vision, dental, life, and short and long-term disability insurance and other fringe benefits. Eligibility for medical benefits begins on the date of hire. PTO includes 3 weeks of vacation in the first year, 10 holidays, 13 sick days, 5 personal days, and birthday days off. Benefits include a 403b with employer contribution after 12 months.
