As you can imagine, all that success and impact comes with massive amounts of SaaS platform scale. Nearpod is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer -- aka Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer -- to help grow and scale our platform. You’ll work closely with our senior-most engineers in making the magic happen.
Our Ideal Candidate will:
Love cloud infrastructure, scalability, performance, reliability
Know and use tools like AWS, Kubernetes, MySQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis
Understand monitoring and metrics - using tools like New Relic, Grafana, VividCortex
Excel as part of a highly collaborative environment with lots of camaraderie
Be practical and assess trade-offs to meet short term scalability challenges while laying the architecture for our future
Enjoy working in a 100% remote environment - we have offices in Ft. Lauderdale and Brooklyn, but work from home
