- Mechanical or Chemical engineering degree with 3 years’ experience
- Experience within the PSM covered Chemical/Process or Petrochemical Industry are required.
- Working knowledge of fixed, rotating, and electrical equipment failure modes and works with operations team to perform failure mode analysis and root cause investigation with cross-functional team’s input.
- The incumbent should have experience developing solid working relationships with operation personnel and must be willing to teach and mentor production personnel.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Physical ability to work around and on industrial equipment, including frequent climbing of stairs and ladders.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 continuous chemical processing facility around dust, chemicals, high temperature, loud noises, and running equipment.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (FRC, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toed boots and hearing protection) in addition to full face respirator as necessary in emergencies.
- Must be able to lift as much as 25 lbs.
