Description

Health-Ade is growing! We are looking for an experienced Regional Account Manager to join the Sales team and support a go-to-market strategy that will increase customer loyalty, distribution, and company profitability. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building and fostering relationships, and ensures Health-Ade’s vision, mission, and values are achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Manages relationship with key decision makers at retailers and distributors
  • Establishes trust and credibility by demonstrating clear understanding of how the customer operates
  • Develops an operating rhythm of joint planning meetings to manage opportunities, negotiations, and initiatives that deliver value
  • Fields and addresses all customer concerns/needs and elevates as appropriate to sales management or cross-functional partners

Customer Planning and Execution

  • Executes the joint business plan to grow both the retailer’s and Health-Ade’s business
  • Works cross-functionally with internal Field Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to execute retailer plans
  • Builds presentations to effectively & concisely communicate Health-Ade selling story

Market, Channel, & Category Understanding

  • Reviews POS and Shopper data to more effectively manage accounts and category opportunity
  • Leverages insights to create relevant selling story for retailers
  • Delivers presentations containing data, programming, and new item recommendations to retailers

Financial Management

  • Applies a strong understanding of profitability goals, priorities, and account P&L when managing activity and promotions
  • Manages customer P&L to meet company profitability goals
  • Negotiates with retailers to improve profitability during promo and new item planning 
  • Works with demand planning team to develop accurate sales forecasts

Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of CPG sales experience - preferably in the Natural Channel
  • Strong persuasive / sales ability / negotiation skills
  • Experience with building and managing a joint business plan
  • Experience managing a retailer trade P&L
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Understanding of general business financials and how these relate to customer programs and decision making
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and resolute attitude to complete tasks
  • Solid analytical skills and acute attention to details
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organized manner
  • Demonstrated ability prioritize multiple tasks and handle assignments simultaneously
  • 33% Travel

COMPENSATION: At Health-Ade, we know our strongest assets are our people, and we recognize our total compensation package is a huge factor in how you are recognized for the impact you have on the company reaching its goals. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $80,000-$90,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, such as market location, level of experience, and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will remain posted until filled.
