Objective of Position
The Clinical Supervisor manages and oversees the clinical services at the three rape crisis center and within the Child Development Program. This position requires supervision of assigned therapists, case managers, interns and/or students. This also includes performing quality assurance-related tasks. This position will improve planning, cross learning and encourage joint problem solving relative to direct services and activities. This position works closely with the Child Development Director and Senior Program Administrator of Empowerment Services.
Statement of Duties
- Reports accurate information to Child Development Director and/or Senior Program Administrator that may arise as it pertains to program design, planning and implementation.
- Responsible for and acts as the lead staff in coordinating individual and group supervision for clinical interns and staff who are pursuing licensure.
- Develops positive relationships with academic programs at local universities and colleges and coordinates administrative aspects of learning agreement and evaluations for clinical interns.
- Acts as the field/practicum instructor for clinical interns in the Child Development Program.
- Plans training programs for clinical interns and assists in training supervising staff, interns and volunteers.
- Provides support services to clients as appropriate, to include, but not limited to information and referral, crisis intervention and advocacy.
- Evaluates the program, to include but not limited to preparation of written reports and collections and analysis of Program statistics and outcomes.
- Assists in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of activities that promote the Mission of the YWCA Greater Los Angeles.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary range: $80,020-90,000/yr.
