Job Summary:
Our Legal & Claims Practice is comprised of widely-respected industry experts who work in tandem with CACs brokers to provide expertly-constructed insurance. As a Claims Advocate, you will proactively manage claims and achieve favorable claim resolutions for clients of CACs Financial Lines, Cyber, and Transactional Liability Practices, to include the following lines of coverage: public and private D&O, E&O, employment practices, cyber, fiduciary, crime, kidnap and ransom, and representations and warranties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurately report new claims and circumstances while proactively identifying potential coverage issues that may impact resolution
- Assist with obtaining insurer consent for counsel and settlements
- Assist with analysis of reservation-of-rights letters from insurers and drafting of coverage arguments
- Facilitate client meetings and conference calls with insurers
- Advocate aggressively on clients behalf when coverage disputes arise
- Leverage business relationships and deploy CAC executive leadership as necessary
- Maintain up-to-date records, including online file & database maintenance
- Work closely with producers and broking colleagues to provide claim information for business renewals, client presentations and RFPs
- Provide coverage and wording advice to clients and, as appropriate
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and insurer claim representatives
