Salary Range: $101,400 - 152,000
Position Summary:
Senior Sourcing manager will analyze and direct the costs and expenditures related to a company's procurement. Sr Sourcing Manager will source the company's strategic supply partners and develop standardized strategic sourcing policies to leverage corporate wide spend.

Responsible for Strategic Sourcing and developing Strategic Sourcing Management System

Opportunity to build a new corporate level strategic sourcing team.

Responsible for Approved Supplier List (ASL) management and working with new product development teams to utilize existing suppliers or review/approve new suppliers.

Work closely with Supplier Quality team to evaluate new suppliers or drive supplier RCCA with existing suppliers when needed.

Evaluate sourcing procedures, present improvement strategies for senior management approval, and analyze and calculate procurement costs and research and develop cost reduction strategies.

Responsible for creating cost estimates and forecasts for the procurement and negotiate reasonable and cost-effective contracts

Responsible for drafting supply agreements and working with legal team to review and approve.

Work with Commercial side Business Partners (BU Leaders, Scientist, NPI Engineers) to develop Sourcing Strategies during development stages for hand off to tactical buying/planning teams.

The primary location for activities conducted by this position is San Jose, CA. and Minneapolis MN

Position requires 25% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for Supply Chain ESG development support (provide evidence of supply chain policy compliance/training, and/or implement program)

Responsible for Corporate level supply chain compliance as it relates to SEC, ESG, and QMS compliance.

Develop business cases, build cross functional consensus and present to leadership proposals for projects with recommended implementation plans.

Critical to supplier risk management and will be responsible for risk mitigation as it relates to supplier and the supply chain.

Work cross functionally with legal team to develop supplier agreements.

Support the implementation of an electronic ERP system and maintain the system for optimum efficiency.

Source secondary supplies to reduce risk where sole source

Develop and foster relationships with BU Leaders, Engineering and Scientist to develop sourcing strategy and approved supplier process through NPI.

Coordinate with project teams from various sites and organizations.

Draft, implement, train, and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the alignment of overall company guidelines for purchasing controls, sourcing, and supply chain management.

Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Support Third Party inspection (e.g., regulatory agency, client, etc.) and internal audits of supply chain.

Must be able to do supplier performance improvement – teaming with suppliers for Lean Six Sigma projects if needed.
