Job Details

Norris, McLaughlin P.A., has an immediate opening for a full-time HR Coordinator in Bridgewater. Knowledge of employee lifecycle necessary to assist busy HR team. Clear communicator (verbal and written) with top organization skills and high level of confidentiality desired. The candidate should be proactive, resourceful, organized, detail oriented and able to handle sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new hires, conduct background checks and employment verifications.
  • Draft job descriptions, offer letters and orientation/training schedules.
  • Create, update and maintain performance reviews.
  • Process terminations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource and benefit files, records, and documentation.
  • Complete surveys and prepare mandatory government reports, including I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, benefits reporting requirements etc.
  • Monitor changes in employment law and regulations for compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Provide general HR and Benefits support, including health and wellness initiatives, and other administrative duties as required.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 2-3 years’ experience in Human Resources/Benefits preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience necessary.

Knowledge of HRIS and similar applications helpful.
