Job Description Overview

Facilities Team Members are responsible for ensuring that Pantano campuses are kept clean and operational under the direction of the Facilities Director, providing a welcoming environment to all guests.

Operations support Pantano, propelling its mission forward by managing critical functions such as Finance, HR, Security, and Facilities. Through their expertise and strategic oversight, they ensure the efficient and effective operation of Pantano, allowing other teams to focus on their core ministries.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Basic janitorial and cleaning functions
  • Basic landscaping
  • Moving tables, chairs, and equipment for events on campus
  • Assist guests on campus by fielding in-person inquiries and phone calls with regard to events or immediate janitorial needs
  • Execute campus opening procedures during the week, including unlocking and locking doors before and after events, unlocking parking lot gates, using building alarm systems, etc.
  • Serve as the onsite Facilities Staff Member on call
  • Promote open communication within morning and evening Facilities Staff Members
  • Identify and collaborate with Operations Assistant on weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly cleaning tasks needed.
  • Clean carpets, perform planned maintenance and conduct deep cleaning of rooms and resources as needed
  • Provide additional Facilities Team presence and support for special events as directed by supervisor

Other Duties

  • Adhere to all church policies and procedures
  • Assist in Maintenance repairs as needed
  • Work assigned duties during All Hands On Deck events such as Christmas and Easter services
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Active Difference Maker at Pantano Christian Church (exceptions may be made for someone who is actively all in at another church, but still a good fit within our staff culture, as determined by the Facilities Director and the Operations Pastor)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Office-related computer skills, including experience with common office software/programs and online applications
  • Ability to effectively utilize online communication, email and calendar tools
  • Ability to work productively without direct supervision
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with team members, volunteers and other staff
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical screening:
    • Basic physical
    • 50lb lift test
    • Drug screen
