Staff Accountant - Receivables

 

ROLE AND LOCATION

This is a full-time, in-office role in Adomni’s Las Vegas, Nevada office.  
 

JOB SUMMARY

The primary objective of this role is to manage Adomni’s receivables and other key accounting and financial reports. Adomni is a growing company and we are looking for someone who can wear multiple hats and is willing to roll-up their sleeves.  

This role involves working with a high degree of autonomy and operational independence.  You will interface with the Controller and several other members of the Adomni team.

Common activities include:

  1. Processing payments from clients

  2. Performing collections from advertising clients

  3. Creating and sharing critical financial reports to a variety of stakeholders

  4. Monitoring and managing deferred revenue

This role requires the ability to comfortably juggle multiple projects simultaneously, with a positive attitude.  Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.


REPORTS TO

Financial Controller


RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Access historical financial/accounting data files.

  2. Generate new import files from Adomni’s transactional system to Adomni’s accounting software.

  3. Notify account managers and sales reps when they should view the monthly data for them to review and approve.

  4. Notify other key stakeholders when they should view the data to review and approve.

  5. Import monthly accounting data into the Quickbooks data.

  6. Generate all of the pdf reports that go to sales reps, vendors, customers, and executive teams and preview them before they are sent.

  7. Utilize Quickbooks for recording payments and preparing reports.

  8. Manage and complete multiple critical tasks for the month-end and year-end close process

  9. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

  10. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

  11. Develop and document business process and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
     

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

  1. Expert knowledge in Quickbooks (Enterprise experience is a PLUS)

  2. Extreme attention-to-detail required

  3. Fast-learner.

  4. Tech/software savvy.

  5. Experience in book-keeping, payroll, and financial accounting.

  6. Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  7. Ability to produce quality materials within tight time frames and manage several tasks simultaneously. 

  8. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

  9. Expert knowledge using Microsoft Excel to analyze and share data.

  10. Comfortable with Google suite, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

 

EXPERIENCE

  1. 5+ years in a senior accounting role.

  2. Experience with out-of-home advertising or programmatic advertising is a huge PLUS.

  3. Experience working at or with an advertising agency is a PLUS.
