Job Position: Breast Imaging Radiologist
Position Summary: As a Breast Imaging Radiologist at Rendr, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of breast-related medical conditions. As a rapidly growing network, we provide a supportive environment for our physicians to practice medicine for the diverse community we serve.
Essential Functions
- Perform a wide range of comprehensive diagnostic and interventional breast imaging services, including but not limited to digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, MRI, radioactive seed localizations and image guided core biopsy (stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI)
- Evaluate and interpret breast imaging studies to accurately diagnose breast diseases, tumors, and abnormalities
- Consult with patients to explain imaging findings, discuss treatment options, and provide resources and support as needed
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for breast cancer patients
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of breast imaging studies, maintaining compliance with established standards and protocols
- Oversee and supervise the technicians for the patient studies
- Respond to urgent tests and studies
- Communicate with both internal and external providers regarding reports from professional reads or other items related to patient studies
Qualifications
- Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required.
- MD or DO from accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Completion of an accredited radiology residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
- Strong diagnostic and interventional radiology skills, with a focus on breast imaging
- Current and unrestricted New York State license
- Active and unrestricted DEA license
