This position serves as the office manager for the Media Production department. Reporting to the Executive Director of Media Production they will act as an assistant to the Director while maintaining MP Project Request Forms (PRF’s) from Asana as well as coordinating all Live Event requests (ie. Event Services Request forms in coordination with Event Services team). The job oversees departmental project scheduling, accounting, recording schedules for Online Ed/Chapel/Advancement/Admissions/Global Initiative projects. S/He will coordinate with various departments to upload and distribute digital content (stills/audio/video) to the various DTS channels/outlets for use across the seminary’s channels. This position will actively develop and maintain the content of the WordPress database, as well as the seminary’s YouTube channel. They will also update portions of voice.dts.edu as it pertains to Media Production.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
Typical duties for this position include, but are not strictly limited to:
  • Standard front office work (email, answering phones, budget reconciliation, purchasing, etc)
  • Process, approve, redirect Event Services Requests and Asana Project Request Forms
  • Maintain DTS social media channels with Media Production content (stills/video)
  • Maintain/upload content to voice.dts.edu using WordPress and other tools as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments to distribute content through our platforms (ex – thetable podcast on YouTube and MegaPhone)
  • Overseeing/coordinating employee work schedules to ensure ample staffing at events (ex Chapel, Online Ed recordings, HR Meetings, podcast recordings, etc)
  • Attend meetings/advise committees, as needed, on behalf of Media Production
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred; Willing to train
  • Use of Microsoft Office suite and Teams
  • Prior use of Asana
  • Prior use of Adobe Creative Cloud
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
