Description

We are seeking long-term growth and career-minded rock stars to join our Sales team!  American Trading International, Inc. (ATI) is a service-oriented export trading company providing domestic and international companies the opportunity to import and export products to new and existing markets.  ATI exports USA food and beverages to over 80 markets worldwide.  We are looking for a Brand Development Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies to drive the success of our products in international markets.  This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverages industry, a creative mindset, and a proven track record in building and managing successful brands.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement strategic brand plans to drive awareness, loyalty, and market share in target export markets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling and effective marketing campaigns that resonate with international audiences.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences.
  • Source new top brands for the Sales team.
  • Work cross-departmentally to ensure alignment between brand positioning and product offerings.
  • Manage and maintain supplier’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all communication channels.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on brand performance (internally and externally), adjusting strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage product/brand description(s) and email marketing campaigns (existing and new brands). 
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful launch of new products in international markets, including training distributor/retailer partners.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage and vet manufacturer leads and ATI website inquiries before passing to the Sales team.
  • Attend domestic and international trade shows as needed.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.  Master’s degree/MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Brand Manager in the CPG industry.  International experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of global consumer preferences and market trends.
  • Advanced knowledge of the MAP program and able to step in and assist as necessary. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Creative thinker with ability to develop innovative and impactful marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

 

What you’ll be paid:

Commensurate with experience, you will be paid $80,000 – $96,000 annually.
