- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
- Experience in leadership development, civic engagement development, and/or high impact educational practices
- Professional experience in a higher-education setting
- Awareness of pressing contemporary social issues facing communities locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally
- Knowledge of best practices in leadership development and community-based and service learning
- Knowledge of and experience working with community organizations
- Strong technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of student development theory
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with multiple constituencies including students, faculty, and staff at the College as well as members of the larger community
- Intercultural competence and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain college vehicle driving certification
