Major Responsibilities
- Provide a clean, safe environment for children 0 months-K5
- Follow the curriculum provided
- Maintain room and storage area in a neat orderly manner
- Collaborate with co-teachers to provide balanced responsibilities
- Adhere to policies of Elmbrook Church Kid’s Ministry
- Implement established health and safety measures
- Implement security system on a daily basis
- Greet parents in a warm and friendly manner
- Be available to discuss concerns regarding individual children
- Be flexible with room assignments and other responsibilities
Qualifications
- Demonstrate a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Active participant, member or friend of Elmbrook Church who supports and endorses the statement of faith, core values and vision
- Knowledge and/or experience in working with young children
Employment Information
This position is part-time, hourly and classified as nonexempt, approximately 2-3 hours/week
Salary dependent on experience, skills & education
Reporting Structure
The Leap Teacher Lake Country will be accountable and report directly to the Pastor Of Children’s Ministry Lake Country of Elmbrook Church.
